Skeet Club Manor

Thank you to all of you that participated last night at Skeet Club Manor.

A few different times I was almost moved to tears as I listened to these sweet girls read and sing about Jesus! Then to watch them talk and laugh with the residents was so so sweet!

I am sure the residents were blessed! I hope your daughter(s) were blessed as well. I know mine was! As we were about to leave, she said "I feel really good". We were able to have a great discussion about how it makes you feel good to give and how it is so much better to give than to receive.

The residents I was able to speak to were so full of love and gratitude. I saw lots of smiles and even a few tears.

Thank you, again, for participating and making Christmas a little more special for the residents at Skeet Club Manor.

Reminders: December 11

Good afternoon! A few reminders: A couple of squads are going to be off campus tonight (Explorers and Blueberries, I think). Everyone else is meeting at CBC as far as I know. Next week, December 18, We will meet at Skeet Club Manor at 6:30. We have some things we are going to share and sing some Christmas carols. We will then have a little time to hand deliver cards and mingle with the residents. Most squads are doing cards at a meeting, but your daughter is certainly welcome to make more and bring them to hand out. You may also bring small gifts if you'd like (small lotions, socks, Christmas trinkets, etc - just please no candy or food as a lot of them have diabetes and/or food restrictions - we have been told we can bring candy canes so we plan to do that). We encourage parents to stay with us. If you can't stay, please plan to pick your daughter up at 7:15. If you aren't staying with your daughter we will need a permission slip filled out - I will have them tonight and next week. We will then go to Feeney's to enjoy a little fellowship and a sweet treat together. It will be the parent's responsibility to get your child(ren) from Skeet Club Manor to Feeney's. Those participating in Secret Sisters will also do their reveal gifts at Feeney's. If you are not going to be there next week or you were alerted that your secret sister is not going to be there, please plan to bring the reveal gift tonight. If you are off campus, please be sure Kelsey gets the gift. She will be delivering gifts to CBC and then to the Mad Platter. Please let me know if you have any questions.
