Important Announcements/Reminders 10/1/12

A few important things:

1. Tomorrow night is a regular AHG meeting. Please be on time so we can begin promptly at 6:30.

2. Upcoming events:
October 2 & 9: Regular Meetings
October 16: GLAM; more information will be out in the next few days
October 23: Leaders' Meeting (no girl meetings)
October 29: Chick-fil-a Spirit Night - more information in the next week or so
October 30: 5th Tuesday - no meetings, unless your squad has other plans
November 2: Father/Daughter Dance ~~ more information coming in a separate email
November 6 & 13: Regular Meetings
November 18: High Point Holiday Parade ~~~ Mark your calendars to join us as we represent AHG in the parade! I will have more details soon.
November 20: No meeting ~~ Thanksgiving
November 27: Leaders' Meeting (no girl meetings)

3. If you did not pay the annual Troop dues yet, that is due no later than October 31.

4. Committee assignments will be emailed this week.

5. Please sign up for the Troop Yahoo Group. This email will most likely be the last mass email. You will need to be signed up for the Yahoo Group to get reminders and important information.

Reminder for 9/25

Just a reminder that there is no meeting for girls tomorrow, 9/25. We will be having our monthly leaders' meeting. Thank you!

GLAM - September 18

September 18 will be our first GLAM night. Join us for roller skating! Please be sure to bring your completed permission slip (please turn it in to Kelsey or your leader), wear your AHG t-shirt (or white shirt), and be ready to have some fun! Please arrive promptly at 6:30 (a little early is even better), ready for skating instruction (hopefully everyone can earn their roller skating pin this year!). Girls should be picked up no later than 8:30. Cost is $3 per skater, plus $1 for skate rental ($2 for inline skates). Siblings (and parents) are welcome to attend and participate.

Our first meeting of the year was a success! I hope everyone enjoyed getting to know each other and spending some time in your squads! Thank you to our leadership team for making the night run so smoothly! Next week, same time, same place!

First Meeting Night!

September 4 is our first regular meeting of the new year! We are looking forward to seeing all of you there! If you were unable to attend our Information/Registration Night on August 21st, please plan to stay after dropping your daughter off in the Power Up! Room. We will meet in the Worship Center right after the Opening, hopefully around 6:45pm. We will have a short informal information time and then complete the registration process for those that were not yet able to turn in their forms. Please let me know if you need any forms.
